Valentine's Dinner at Tuscarawas County Nursing Home

February 15, 2020
Uhrichsville, Ohio - Our Valentine’s Day Candlelight Dinner was nothing short of perfection! Residents gathered with their families and enjoyed a delicious spaghetti dinner prepared by our dietary department. The meal was followed by salted caramel pretzel bars with strawberries for dessert. Throughout dinner, Jim McConnell performed to complete the Valentine’s Day atmosphere. We are so grateful to get to celebrate this special time together, and get to remember what Valentine’s Day is all about!

After dinner, we crowned this year’s king and queen. Staff and visitors had to chance to vote for this year’s royal court in the days leading up to dinner. Jake and Janet were chosen! Both were so surprised to become royalty in front of their family and friends. They were both awarded with a delicious box of chocolate and of course- crowns!

All the guests who attended received a ticket to be entered for a door prize. The lucky winner got to take home a beautiful Lily, just in time for the holiday.

An evening this fun has to be remembered. A photo backdrop was available for our residents to snap a picture with their family, friends and their Valentine! These priceless memories will be cherished for years to come.

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who was able to join us for our Valentine’s Dinner. We love filling our dining room with the people who mean the most to our residents and celebrating together. Also, we would like to thank our staff, our dietary department and our Activities Director, Sherry for making this beautiful night come together. You all went above and beyond to make life at Claymont Health & Rehabilitation even more special.
